French theater auteur Raphaëlle Boitel returns April 6

The brilliant young French director Raphaëlle Boitel, whose company l’Oublié(e) captivated theatergoers at their Williams Center debut in 2019, returns 8 p.m. Thurs., April 6, with Ombres Portées (Shadows Cast). Conveyed by performers with extraordinary physical prowess and the high-flying elements of circus craft, Boitel’s stories unfold in a cinematic dreamscape of haunting imagery. “Truly ravishing,” hailed Ben Brantley of The New York Times.
