As part of Earth Month, come see the short (20 min.) film, Insect Apocalypse, which looks at why insects are declining and how native plants can save them. After the film a panel will discuss the issues broadly, and past and future efforts on campus as well as LaFarm. Presenters include Professor David Brandes, civil & environmental engineering; Kylie Bailin, Skillman Library; Josh Parr, LaFarm director; & student Maddy Lebish ’23. Following the panel, take a tour of some of the native trees and native plant gardens on campus. Refreshments will be provided.
