Karl Stirner Arts Trail (KSAT) and Nurture Nature Center will host a series of Walks with the Profs in April along the trail to celebrate Earth Month.

The public is invited to join in on any of the walks in the series. Lafayette Professors Mike Butler, David Brandes, and Dave Sunderlin will highlight different aspects of the KSAT and the Bushkill Creek.

The schedule will feature:

  • Mon., April 17: Birds of the corridor with Mike Butler
  • Thurs., April 20: Inhabitants of the Bushkill Creek with David Brandes
  • Thurs., April 27: Easton’s Geology with Dave Sunderlin

Each walk will begin at 5:30 p.m. and visitors are asked to meet at the Silk Mill entrance to the trail, at the pedestrian bridge, near Steve Tobin’s Black Steel Root. Hiking or trail shoes are recommended. Learn more about the trail, and find events and fundraisers at karlstirnerartstrail.org.
