Green Move-Out is a campus-wide sustainability and community service effort where students donate their unused or gently used items (clothes, furniture, unopened nonperishable foods, and more) during move-out so that they can be redistributed to local organizations, the community sale, and the campus thrift store.

In 2022, 20,000 pounds of items were collected. The Landis Center for Community Engagement and the Office of Sustainability are looking for volunteers to help move and sort items after they are donated to prepare them to be redistributed to where they are needed in our local community. This is a community effort and a huge lift (pun intended!!). Sign up for a shift between May 9 and June 17 (the date of the West Ward Sale).

Students – have items to donate? Place your items in the green bins in your residence hall, or for larger items, take them to POD containers located at the Bailey Health Center, March Field, Ruef Hall, Conway House and 421 Hamilton St. (behind the printmaking studio).
