UPDATE – The time has been updated to reflect that the event runs from 3-6 p.m.

In the summer of 2009, the Lafayette College community and Kappa Kappa Gamma suffered a great loss when Marina Petersen ‘10, tragically passed away. Despite never getting the honor of meeting Marina, the chapter celebrates her legacy year after year through an event called Marina Day. This day celebrates Marina and her love for friendships, community, and having fun. The event raises money for the Marina Petersen Interim Abroad Scholarship Fund, a scholarship given to a Lafayette student who embodies the values treasured in Marina – an appreciation for family, friends, travel, and philanthropy. Last year, Marina Day raised over $6,000 and the goal is to raise even more this year! Kappa Kappa Gamma sisters shared that Marina had a natural ability to bring people together, was a lively and happy girl, had a wicked sense of humor, and could make everyone laugh.

Celebrate Marina’s life and support an incredible cause, 3-6 p.m. Fri., May 5 • March Field • MORE
