The end of the semester and those warm summer days are almost here. But before the semester ends, add these four items to your to-do list:

  1. Return your library books: Students—especially seniors—should return their books before heading home. If you want to keep your books over the summer, they may be renewed by logging in to your account. Contact circ@lafayette.edu with any issues.
  2. Hand in that ECO clamshell container: If you are participating in the Eco clamshell Reusable Container Program, you must return your container to Upper by May 15 before departing at the end of the semester. Help the Office of Sustainability and Dining Services continue to provide this zero-waste option at dining facilities! Learn more.
  3. Green Move-Out: Before leaving campus, donate any unwanted new or gently used items into the green bins in your residence halls or the PODs across campus. Students living off campus can fill out this form to request a box for donation. Learn more and volunteer (shifts are available during finals as a great service study break!).
  4. Seniors, pass your gown to next year’s Pards: Seniors, before leaving after commencement, donate your cap, gown, and cords to next year’s seniors through the Hand-Me-Down-Commencement Gown Program by leaving them in the green bins in Farinon or any Green Move-Out bin on campus.

Plus, check out the semester wrap-up for all the details about finals’ study breaks, schedule changes, textbook buy-back, and what to know about move-out.
