The electricity to all main campus buildings will be turned off during an electrical maintenance outage Sat., July 15 (Rain date: Sun., July 16).
The planned shutdown will last approximately 12 hours (from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.). Local building generators will remain on in certain buildings to maintain vivariums and other research-related projects. Preventative maintenance and repairs will be completed at the electrical substation and in many campus buildings. This year we are replacing the primary aerial switches in the substation which will require some additional time. After the maintenance is completed, power will be restored to all buildings.
