Lafayette College is excited to celebrate the opening of Gummeson Grounds: Home of Mike Bourger ’44 Field at Oaks Stadium 12 p.m. Sun., Aug. 20. This community gathering will feature food, fun, and the opportunity to see this exciting new venue. Guests will also be able to watch the inaugural game as Lafayette Women’s Soccer plays Mount St. Mary’s at 2 p.m. Reservations are not required for this special event.
A dedication ceremony will take place Fri., Aug. 25, at 5:30 p.m. prior to the Men’s game against UMass Lowell. At this special event, the College will officially dedicate the space and recognize the many donors who supported the project. Register for the event.
Gummeson Grounds is located at Metzgar Fields Athletic Complex, 3412 Sullivan Trail in Easton.
