The Office of Sustainability hosted 30 third through fifth graders from the local YMCA for a fun and educational Sustainability Summer Camp July 18.

Campers had the opportunity to participate in sustainable farming and catch insects at LaFarm, discuss food justice with Bergh Research Fellows, paint kindness rocks, learn about the importance of using their voices with the Landis Center for Community Engagement, and use their creativity to design their own swing-related game with the Dyer Center—encouraging them to spend time outdoors with their friends and family. A huge thank you to the LaFarm team, Bergh Fellows, Landis Center, and Dyer Center for making the Sustainability Camp possible!
