Tips to prepare for the Career Fair

The Fall Career Fair will be held 5-8 p.m. Wed., Sept. 20 in Marquis Hall. Here are a tips to remember:

  • Name tags: If you register by 12 p.m., you will have a pre-printed name tag waiting for you upon your arrival.
  • ALL majors are welcome. The fair is open to ALL students from ALL majors. Attending employers represent a wide variety of areas including high tech, manufacturing, biotech, not-for-profit, state government, construction, engineering and more. Research these companies via Handshake.
  • Resumes: Bring 10-20 copies of your resume and your phone with you to check-in with employers. Find out where to print them on campus!
  • LinkedIn and social media headshot photo opportunities will be available at the fair in the Marquis lobby. Dress your best and don’t forget to SMILE 😊
