NIA’s annual Zumbathon fundraiser is coming up 5-7 p.m. Fri., Oct. 27, in Kamine Court #3 in the Allen P. Kirby Sports Center.

The Zumbathon benefits the Capital Breast Care Center, a nonprofit providing critical support services for those diagnosed with breast cancer. Their mission is “To provide and maximize comprehensive culturally-appropriate breast cancer screening services to women of the D.C. metropolitan area, regardless of the ability to pay, through clinical services, education and research.”Capital Breast Care Center supported Alleyah Miner‘s late mother, who was not only NIA’s former co-president but also the founder of Zumbathon. Even if you can’t make it in person, we welcome any donations to support this great cause.
