Candy wrappers can’t be recycled through normal recycling bins. That’s why Lafayette partners with Rubicon to provide specialty recycling bins for candy wrappers during the Halloween season. Drop off your candy wrappers at the box outside of RISC 203 or next to the Reverse Vending Machine in Farinon at the end of October and through mid-November. Eco-Reps will also have bins in select residence halls. The recycled candy wrappers will be used to create doggy bags for animal shelters. Learn more about waste and recycling at Lafayette.
