In a Wed., Nov. 29, session participants will learn about the motivation, scope, and plans for a National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine (NASEM) consensus study that began this year. The committee’s discussion draft will be presented which proposes seven principles for equitable and effective teaching of undergraduate STEM.

Tracie Addy, who serves on the NASEM Committee, together with Wendy Hill, will lead a discussion to gather initial feedback on the draft report. NASEM will release a final report in late 2024, and this discussion will help improve the document’s framework. Lunch will be available at this event first come, first served. All faculty, staff, and students are invited to attend. Register to attend  More
