Campus Race to Zero Waste is a national eight-week competition to reduce waste and increase recycling on campus. Each Monday during the competition, find a tip in Lafayette Today shared by the Office of Sustainability.

Lafayette has many ways you can “reuse” on campus. There are 60 water bottle refill stations, a reusable clamshell container program to take food to-go at Upper or Marquis with zero waste, discounts for bringing your own mug at Eco Cafe and Skillman, new ‘for-here’ smoothie cups at Eco Cafe, and free reusable plates to order through catering! Reusables eliminate waste entirely, and are a great way to minimize your personal waste on a daily basis.
