A new video podcast studio is nearly complete in Skillman Library! It’s located in Skillman 007 and will be available to anyone at Lafayette to reserve following Spring Break.
The studio, which seats up to four, creates an immersive experience using three wall-mounted video cameras that use an AI “director” to cut among the cameras, installed lighting, and a RØDECaster mixer at its core. Two USB connections to your laptop and hit record!
The room should be booked through https://lafayette.libcal.com/. The video podcast studio is not listed yet, but will be once the space is completed. Those who reserve the studio will need to go to the circulation desk to check out the key after they have reserved the space.
