The Paul Tully Memorial Prize is presented to two students who exemplify through political engagement the democratic ideals to which Paul Tully devoted his life. The cash prize will be awarded without regard to party or ideology. Paul Tully was political director of the Democratic National Committee when he died at 48 in 1992. He attended Yale University and the University of Pennsylvania Law School. Email nominations to Prof. Joshua Miller by Fri., March 8, at millerj@lafayette.edu.

Faculty, students, administration, and staff may nominate. Self-nominations are welcome. Nominated students will be asked to submit a resume and a short statement about why they deserve the Tully Prize. Finalists will be interviewed by a selection committee.
