Through the Lafayette Initiative for Malagasy Education (LIME), 12 Lafayette students in the Classes of 2026 and 2027 will mentor Malagasy students from a public high school in Antananarivo over a 1.5-year period starting in fall 2024. Part of the mentoring will be in person during a three-week trip to Madagascar with David Stifel (Economics) and Sue Wenze (Psychology) in January 2025. Students will receive one course credit for a January interim course (GM2) that includes significant preparation in the fall semester.
