The inaugural Ilan Peleg Award for Excellence Faculty Mentoring will be presented at 4:30 p.m. Thurs., March 28 in Kirby Hall of Civil Rights to Profs. Eric Ziolkowski, Helen H. P. Professor of the Bible, and Chip Nataro, Marshall R. Metzgar Professor of Chemistry. This event is open to the full Lafayette community.
This award was endowed by Chip ’79 H’22 and Juliet Bergh and recognizes one of Chip’s outstanding professors, his faculty advisor and a lifelong mentor and friend, Ilan Peleg, Charles A. Dana Professor of Government and Law. The Ilan Peleg Award for Excellence Faculty Mentoring will provide a generous award each year to a faculty member who has done exceptional work mentoring and supporting students inside and outside the classroom.
