In part funded by the College’s Faculty Affairs and Resources Committee, Rebecca Capone ’27 and Luca Ferrucci ’27 will present at the “Peace by Piece” Student Peace Conference April 11-13 at the University of Notre Dame, IN.

Capone compares the Chipko and Earth Quaker environmental movements regarding their use of nonviolent protest. Ferrucci discusses how the taboo status of the Race Massacre has changed to become part of the school curriculum due to grassroots activism in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
