With finals right around the corner, here are some helpful tips from the library:

Skillman Library extended hours

From 10 a.m. Sun., April 28, through 10 p.m. Sun., May 12, Skillman Library will be open 24 hours. To access the building after 1 a.m (midnight Friday and Saturday), use your key fob. Laptops must be returned by 1 a.m.

Kirby Library extended hours during exams

Kirby will be open from 9 a.m. to midnight Monday-Friday starting Mon., April 29 through Fri., May 10.

Need a quiet spot to study?

Reserve a study room at Skillman library through lafayette.libcal.com. Rooms can be reserved up to three days in advance, for up to three hours per day. Some rooms (003, 004, 208, Gendebien and the Simon Room) cannot be reserved and are available as study space on a first come first serve basis.

De-stress at the Library during finals!

The Finals Fairy will be hiding prizes throughout Skillman Library May 6-10. Follow the library on Instagram @lafayettecollegelibrary and Twitter @LafLib for clues. Therapy Dogs with the Happiness Project and Drag Story Hour will also occur in the Library during the first week of May.

Personalized Research Assistance available

If you’re looking for help finding the information you need to complete a paper or other assignment, request a virtual or in person Personalized Research Assistance (PRA) session. It’s a chance to meet with a research librarian and get help with library research. Just use the PRA Request Form and you’ll hear back from a librarian soon.
