The Lafayette College Chamber Orchestra presents a concert of music for stage and cinema from the 17th century to the present day.  Works by French baroque composer Henry Desmaret, 20th-century composers Gabriel Fauré, Florence Price, and Paul Hindemith, and film music by Danny Elfman (“Dark Shadows,” “Corpse Bride,” and “Bettlejuice,”) John Williams “Schindler’s List,” “Angela’s Ashes,” and “Saving Private Ryan”) and  Hans Zimmer (“Pirates of the Caribbean.”) The performance will be held 3 p.m. Sun., April 28, on the main stage of the Williams Center for the Arts. Lewis R. Baratz, conductor. Admission is free.
