Green Move Out is a campuswide sustainability and community service effort where students donate their new or gently used items (clothes, furniture, unopened nonperishable foods, and more) during move-out so they can be redistributed to local organizations, the community sale, and the Campus Thrift Store. In previous years, up to 20,000 pounds of items were collected and redistributed throughout the Easton and Lafayette communities.
To donate, place your items in the green bins in your residence hall. Larger items such as furniture can be taken to the POD containers to be delivered Tues., May 5, to Bailey Health Center, Watson Hall, Ruef Hall, Conway, McCartney South, McCartney II, and 421 Hamilton St. (for off-campus housing).
