The exhibit, which is on display through July 14 in Paris, features images from the College’s collections.

“This exhibition catalog celebrates the historic collaboration between the National Archives of France and Lafayette College on the occasion of the 250th anniversary of the United States Declaration of Independence and the 200th anniversary of Lafayette College,” says Elaine Stomber ’89 P’17 P’21, co-director of Special Collections and College Archives and College Archivist. “Scholarly essays and illustrations drawn from Lafayette College collections reveal the pivotal role the Marquis de Lafayette played throughout his life, bridging two worlds and two political cultures.
