Lafayette College offers its deepest sympathy and condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of Philip G. Schroeder, former executive assistant to the president and administrative secretary to the Board of Trustees, who died Sept. 14 in Nazareth, Pa., at the age of 83. He served at Lafayette from 1969 to 2005. A celebration of life service will be held Sat., Oct. 17, at GRACE Church Bethlehem.
Phil is survived by his wife, Barbara, and her children Dawne von Czoernig (Eric), David Myers, and Donna Pomeroy; their nine grandchildren, Tyler Sands (Erin),Trevor Sands (Heather), Hillary LoStracco (Joe), Brittany Cintron (Joe), Emma von Czoernig (Staf), Kelsey, Cody, Adam, and Aubrie; and their four great-grandchildren, Theo, Tanner, Summer, and Scarlett.
A celebration of life service will be held 11 a.m. Sat., Oct. 17, at GRACE Church Bethlehem, 4301 Hecktown Road, Bethlehem, PA. The service will be followed by refreshments and fellowship.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in his name to GRACE Church Bethlehem.
