Sometimes when we have challenging life experiences, we may struggle to make sense of them. Expressive writing is one way to understand or process difficult experiences. By exploring how these past events may be impacting us presently, we can begin to make new meaning in our lives. The Counseling Center is offering a series of meetings to guide students in expressive writing through carefully curated prompts. Participants will begin each guided journaling experience with grounding techniques to assist with calm and thoughtful examination of our lives through expressive writing. Fallyn Lee, staff psychologist and prevention coordinator, will be facilitating this group. Start date and time is to be determined upon students’ availability. Request more information.
