Counting the days to the Bicentennial Homecoming concert with Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter, and musician Darius Rucker? The wait is nearly over! Custom registration links will be emailed to faculty, staff, and students this week from bicentennial@lafayette.edu.
Staff and faculty can register for a ticket, and can request an additional ticket for a guest, if desired, for the concert and drone show. Please note: Registration is first come, first served. There are a limited number of tickets available for this event so be sure to register early!
Registration details, inspired by Darius Rucker songs:
- “I Will Wait”: Nope, advance registration is required for this event.
- “This”: You can only register with your Lafayette email address.
- “It Won’t Be Like This For Long”: Be sure to reserve your ticket by Nov. 12. Any tickets not claimed by that date will be shared with additional groups.
Event details:
- “Time”: Doors open 6:30 p.m. Fri., Nov. 20. The concert begins at 8 p.m. in the Bicentennial Village on the Quad. An email containing a QR code will be sent to you with your registration confirmation. The QR code will serve as your ticket and is required for entry into The Bicentennial Village Fri., Nov. 20.
- Lafayette’s own Lilly Moss, aka Lillian Hercik ’27, will take the stage before Darius Rucker. Moss will perform her breakout country single “Somebody Should,” which earned the cover of Spotify’s Fresh Finds.
- “Only Wanna Be With You”: Attendees are asked to limit what they bring to the event and avoid bringing a bag if possible. Clear or no bags are encouraged for all events Homecoming Weekend, and will likely lead to quicker entry into events. All bags will be subject to search before entry. Approved clear bags include:
- Clear plastic bags no larger than 12”x12”x6”
- One-gallon clear zip bags no larger than 11”x11”
- Small clutch bags, wristlets, or handheld wallets no larger than 8”x5”x2”
