In accordance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), Lafayette’s Student Education Records Policy (FERPA) is designed to protect the confidentiality of student education records, give students access to their records, ensure the accuracy of their contents, and inform students on how to consent to their disclosure.

FERPA compliance is an institution-wide responsibility; all employees, third-party contractors, volunteers, and other individuals affiliated with the College are obligated to comply with FERPA and the College’s policy. Please take a few moments to review this policy and its associated resources, including the FERPA FAQs, Quick Guides for Faculty and Staff, and Recommendation Release Form.

If you have questions, please contact the Office of the Registrar.
