The Student Affairs Committee is considering revisions to the language and application of dean’s excuses as laid out in the Faculty Handbook and Course Catalog. Three open meetings will be held where the committee will briefly share the legal and practical concerns that have prompted this work and share its ideas. A majority of the time will be devoted to soliciting feedback from colleagues on the proposed revisions. The dates are as follows:
