It has been noticed that some members of the Lafayette community
have been disregarding the construction signage and walking around the
barricades to utilize the escarpment trail that is currently closed for
construction. Please be advised that starting Mon. Nov.7, the railings and
stairs will be removed creating a significant safety risk to pedestrians on the closed trail. For your own safety, please adhere to the
construction restrictions and do not use the trail. If you are unfamiliar
with the suggested route to downtown Easton and the Arts Campus, please review this previous announcement. Thank you for your
