Dining Services is starting the semester off with a few new student-requested features. Check out what you’ll find in the dining areas this fall:
- Soft ice cream machine: You know those days when you just need ice cream? Well, now you’ll have two spots to get your fix. After positive feedback with the ice cream machine in Upper Farinon, Dining is adding a second ice cream machine in Marquis Dining Hall.
- Coca-Cola freestyle: Marquis is also getting a freestyle soda machine so you can mix flavors to your heart’s content.
- New reusable container program: Dining will debut a new reusable container program Aug. 20. No cost to participate; just sign up through the ReusePass app, swipe your Pard Card and get a reusable container for takeout. Exchange your dirty container within three days for a clean one. Sign up now with ReusePass so you’re ready to go when the semester begins. Tip: add your ReusePass QR code to Apple Wallet or screenshot for easy access.
- New campus eatery on the menu: Plans have also been announced for new dining venues on the first floor of McCartney II. Dining Services and Parkhurst will partner to renovate the space, and will be looking for campus feedback in the fall for the type of food that campus is craving. Keep an eye on Lafayette Today this fall for surveys and meetings to share your feedback.
